Finally made it

Post by Coso »

Long overdue in registering-- my husband and I have been following all the DV sites for years! This is by far my favorite hangout.

We grew up in Ridgecrest, although we're running a small organic farm outside Chico these days.

We're also responsible for introducing PSR Keith to the desert, for better or worse. We took him camping at Darwin Falls his first time, when you still could!

David Bricker-- kinda sorta met you over the phone one time while talking to Keith & you wandered into the office.

B-Spec-- love your PSR updates!

AndyR-- We lived in Boulder Creek for 17 years. Glad to see you make it down to DV as much as you do.

D.A. Wright-- Your posts take us back to days exploring the eastern Sierra!

Here's hoping we can break loose sometime soon & meet all y'all!

Welcome! Can't say as I remember our phone meeting. If I was wandering into the office, my brain was probably pre-occupied with other stuff.

Hopefully, we'll get a chance to meet in person soon. Thanksgiving, maybe?

Now that my brain is a little less muddy, I do remember meeting you on the phone. Keith said something about knowing you for quite some time. Were you and he talking about Ursa, his new puppy?

Why yes, I think that was the gist of the conversation. I believe you also said something to Keith about the people who know who you are, but you don't know about them. That's what happens when you've trundled about all the DV sites for as long as you have! :D

Coso,
Are you REALLY sure you want to be associated with this group!

We have been known to be rather rowdy and bad habit forming!
You can't see the true desert or real history from a paved road!

You've hooked up with a very diverse and interesting group of people here. If you like the desert as much as we do, you'll like PanamintCharlie's.
